hard tacos or tostadas with a prep time of 15 minutes and a cook time of 10 minutes:

Ingredients:

8-12 corn tortillas

1 lb ground beef or chicken

1 onion, diced

2 cloves of garlic, minced

1 can of diced tomatoes

1 can of black beans, drained and rinsed

2 tsp chili powder

1 tsp cumin

salt and pepper, to taste

oil, for frying

toppings of your choice (such as shredded cheese, sour cream, lettuce, etc.)

Instructions:

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the ground beef or chicken. Cook, stirring occasionally, until browned, about 5-7 minutes.

Add the onion, garlic, diced tomatoes, black beans, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir to combine and cook for another 5-7 minutes.

Heat about 1/4 inch of oil in a separate skillet over medium-high heat.

Fry the tortillas in the hot oil for about 20 seconds per side, or until crispy and golden brown. Drain the tortillas on paper towels.

Assemble the tacos or tostadas by placing a spoonful of the meat mixture on each fried tortilla, and then add toppings of your choice.

Tips:

You can also bake the tortillas in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes on each side.

You can make your own seasoning or use store-bought taco seasoning.

You can also use other protein sources like fish or shrimp.

You can add some veggies like bell peppers or zucchini to the meat mixture for added flavor and nutrition.

If you're making tostadas, you can also spread refried beans on top of the fried tortillas before adding the meat mixture, which will help the tostadas stay crispy.
